Girls just wanna have fun

I was going to say I'm going away for the weekend with my girlfriends on our annual weekend away. But we're not technically 'going away'. We're kinda staying. At Docklands, which is practically the city and not exactly pack-a-picnic-for-the-drive road trip stuff. However, it's away from our houses and our lives and responsibilities and that's what matters.

We were meant to be going somewhere else, but the booking agents stuffed up our booking. Not that we care now. I doubt we'll do much other than go out to dinner tonight. I know we're going out tomorrow night. The days, I suspect, will be spent bumming around by some of us and shopping by those (not me!) who are more inclined to do so.

I think I've taken on Pink's new song as my theme song. Really, the less boys who try to talk to me when we're out on Saturday night, the better the night will be for everyone. I'm not anti-boy. I just don't need them in my face right now. (Of course, that doesn't include you Ian! I have to check on the status of the facial hair for Mo-vember.)
